GM – Sales & Marketing (Agriculture)
Location: PAN-India / HQ-based with travel
Reporting to: CEO / Managing Director
CTC: ₹25–30 LPA (flexible for the right candidate)
Role Summary
Lead and scale the Sales & Marketing function for the agriculture division, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own revenue growth, profitability, and market share
- Define and execute sales & marketing strategy across regions and channels
- Strengthen distribution networks (dealers, distributors, channel partners)
- Lead product launches, pricing, and go-to-market strategies
- Drive brand building, demand generation, and farmer engagement programs
- Recruit, build, and mentor high-performing, multi-location sales & marketing teams
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and product teams for execution excellence
Candidate Profile
- MBA / PGDM (Sales, Marketing, Agribusiness preferred)
- 15–20+ years of experience in agriculture sales & marketing
(seeds, crop protection, fertilizers, agri-inputs, agri-tech, equipment, pumps, pipes, etc.) - Proven experience leading large teams and regional businesses
- Strong understanding of rural markets, farmer economics, and channel management
